Where have I been?

Ummm..... moving, soccer, and just juggling my kids and their activities while trying to settle in a new home. I'm not crafting as much as I would like since I'm also trying to organize all my craft supplies. I can't believe how much stuff I have, it's almost very embarrassing. While I was trying to organize my stamps and dies, I found (gasp) duplicates!!! Oh the horror on my face. I decided to create an excel spread sheet. Yes, I did and I love it!!!  Should there be huge sale on my favorite crafting websites, I check my excel spread sheet first before I hit that "buy" button. So far so good on not purchasing duplicate items. I also have started posting items that I have purchased and hoarded on Facebook craft swap and sell pages. I know, I have crafting supply issues.  Yikes!!!

BB2U from BB8

It's been a while since I posted anything on my blog. Life has been crazy busy, especially with my kids being on summer vacation. I am ready for the new school year to start; but, I am also not ready.

I made this card for my youngest daughter's friend. He has a "Star Wars" themed birthday luncheon at their pre-school. I am CASing it from a couple of cards I saw from Pinterest; but with my own sentiment.

Below are the list of supplies I used to make this adorable "BB8" card.
  • Stampin Up Circle Framelits #130911 (for the body and head)
  • Hero Arts/Basic Gray "Tiny Stars" Background stamps
  • Mama Elephant "Big Word" stamps - The sentiment is "HB2U." I masked the "H" and stamped "B" twice to replace the "H."
  • Encore Silver Metallic ink.
Hope you like it! Leave me a comment if you do. Thanks for looking :)

Cricut "Have the Yappiest Birthday"

It's been a while since I posted. I have been so busy with my kids--- school stuff, soccer, and other daily commitments. However, today, I took time out to make a birthday card for my nephew. I hope you like it. It was fun rifling through my stash. It's like Christmas in May  ;)
I used some "stuff" that I already had in my stash:

  • Cricut "Create a Critter"
  • My Pink Stamper "Biggie Punnies."
  • Stampin Up Gumball Green embossing folder
  • Miscellaneous cardstock

You are Tea-riffic!!!

Hi "Tea-riffic" fellow crafters!!!
Today's card show cases the "A Nice Cuppa" and "Cups and Kettle" framelit. To make this card, I used the Mojo Monday #436 sketch and the color combination from the MFT Color Challenge.

The Crumb Cake card panel is cut at 4 1/2 X 5 1/2 (A2 card size) and the Shimmer white panel is cut at 4 X 5 1/4.

I ended up using the "Timeless Treasure" stamp set and used the coffee stain image on the upper right corner to balance it out.

Please click on the video below for the short tutorial.

Below is a list of products I used to make this card. Please click HERE to access my store. Also, don't forget, it's Sale-A-Bration time! For every $50.00 you spend, you can get free items in the SAB catalog. (To view, click the SAB image on the right.)
Thank you for watching and Happy Crafting!!!
